Mennonite Nurses Association is becoming a part of Mennonite Healthcare Fellowship Please visit our website for more information! The 2010 joint Mennonite Nurses Association and Mennonite Medical Association Convention was held at Williamsburg, VA, June 24-27. Eighteen people attended the MNA Annual Members Meeting; members discussed developments related to direction toward an emerging expanded association of Mennonite health-care workers. The Implementation Team met at Convention and reported plans for developing the new organization in the next year with inauguration to take place during the next Convention June 23-26, 2011, at Laurelville Mennonite Church Center. Mennonite Nurses Association and Mennonite Medical Association are planning joint and separate history celebrations during the first part of the Convention.

MNA member Evelyn Driver is compiling a history of Mennonite Nurses Association. Evelyn is researching materials in Archives and interviewing people associated with the organization throughout its history. Please contact Evelyn with memories related to MNA at evelynjdgoshen.edu. To meet the needs of Mennonite/Anabaptist health-care providers for fellowship and common ministry, a new organization is being developed, with plans for inauguration in 2011.
